Don’t Forget Disposable Gloves
When you take on the role of caretaker for an elderly parent, relative or friend it is a huge undertaking. Just as with becoming a parent, there is no catch all guide for how to do this “right.” In fact questions lead to ever more questions and it is quite likely that you will find yourself struggling through a number of ins and outs. The intricacies and complexities of helping to care for the elderly are many and they are further complicated by the specificity of each individual case.
When buying incontinence products you try and strip away your own needs and get the best items for your loved one. Their comfort, safety and health becomes your top, often only, priority. They are in need and you felt capable and cared enough to dive in. This is why when buying adult diapers and other necessities, new care takers often forget an important item: disposable gloves. When you hear it, it’s a no-brainer, but I cannot tell you how many people forget this item. It is incredibly handy to have disposable gloves around when caring for the elderly. The gloves can be helpful even if you have found the most absorbent and reliable incontinence products.
