Staying young is feeling young, as the cliche goes. But it’s more than that. It’s about staying up with the times, knowing what’s going on with the youth and in the news, and how to use computers and iPods. That stuff isn’t so complicated, it’s just that it can be intimidating. When you’ve lived seventy years without an iPod, why jump at the chance for one now?
And when you have incontinence problems that force you to use Depends and Attends and Tranquility adult diapers, you may be even less reluctant, due to feelings of old age. That stuff is for kids, you think, and sure enough you find yourself feeling older, more out of it. And the result is that you turn inwards and sulk, thinking about all of your troubles and feeling sorry for yourself. Snap out of it!
Don’t let incontinence and Attends get you down. Don’t know how to use an iPod? Go on the internet, I’m sure you’re able to do that if you’re reading this right now, and type in on your preferred search engine “how to use an iPod.” Follow the instructions and you’ll start feeling young again!
