Kegels and Disposable Adult Diapers

disposable underwearThere’s something quite satisfying about throwing away, or disposing, as it were. Disposable gloves, disposable underwear, whatever. Disposing of it is comparable to having eaten a large dinner — it was there for you to use, and once done with, has served its purpose. There’s something very human in that.

Disposable underwear, once soiled, are worthless. Dispose of them. It is important to dispose of them properly. Wear disposable gloves while doing so, and wash hands afterward. Incontinence products can embarrassing but they don’t have to be. Part of getting older is dealing with how the body changes.

Don’t be ashamed to keep a bedpan. This can be a major help late at night when the bathroom is far away. Eat more fiber. This is essential for health, and its benefits for the digestive system are widely known. Kegels can help too.

Kegels strengthen the urinary contraction muscles. In order to perfect kegel technique, find the muscles that prevent you from farting and urinating. These are kegel muscles. Squeeze them and hold it for three seconds. Repeat a few times. Eventually you should be able to do this while standing, sitting or walking. Remember to breathe and work up to three sets of 10 a day. This will help you use fewer disposable adult diapers.
